Hang Zhou trip

Just take an annual leave to make a trip to Hang Zhou, the capital of Zhe Jiang province in China, a placed called "paradise in the real world". Two days trip, stay at YHA hotel. I believe more detail summary will come out from GG's blog.

Short comments here:
1. West lake is really really beautiful, and government did a fantastic job on that.
2. city is normal, still needs to improve.
3. rail station is not fit with the position of this city
4. taxi is not good, so hard to get one, and driver always refuse to take customers depends on target position. Running so fast…. dangerous

Science and Technology Practices

2009.05.13, I received the "science and technology practice" training by Dawn and Ludovic. Originally this training is whole week in Dow Chemical, however, due to economy recession, we reduced it to one day….It looks like 6 sigma training could also be reduced to one week using this regular..

This training is a system training on science and technology work flow. At each different stage, do necessary work. Before that, I did not know there is a system work flow, but we still have similar thought on each step.

Here is each work step for a scientific job:
1. define research problem
2. literature review
3. define hypothesis
4. experimental design
5. conduct experiment
6. analyze data
7. generate solutions
8. implement solutions
9. document results

Comment on "pursue of happyness"

I insist, happyness will come tomorrow…
This movie is to prove "life is hard", but for Chris, life is too hard…When he's short of money, he's homeless, he have to sell blood, I am wondering, where is his mother/father? Maybe that is due to my Chinese thinking. At any emergency time, when we need help and could not get, family is always helpful and there waiting for us. Ok, here is no business with this movie.

Before looking at this movie (kind of old movie now), the wife of my best friends commented on this movie: life is hard, but only the person experienced it could feel the sweet from it, we are sure to pursue better life together. After seeing that movie, I did not have so strong feeling like her, just know, after sawing one comment, I understand: only person experienced the same hard situation, could have the same strong feeling, life is not easy and we need to take care of our happyness.

Although I am living in Shanghai, although no permanent house and car in this busy city, I believe I still have happyness here with my wife. Happyness is no direct relationship with money, everybody could reach his happyness, yes, everybody. Take care of your current happyness and enjoy the life. Xin

Celebrating 200 visits of my blog!

Wahaha, so exciting to reach another 100 visit in a short time (April 6 for 100 visit, using 3 months). Here is the data for my 200 visit:
